Privacy Policy
GrooveNudge processes MIDI on your device. It does not require an account, upload your MIDI projects, sell personal data, or use advertising or cross-app tracking.

App and AUv3 data
The GrooveNudge app and AUv3 extension process MIDI performance data, app settings, presets, imported MIDI files, and generated MIDI output locally on your device. The app and extension may use their shared app container to keep settings and purchase access consistent between the two surfaces.
GrooveNudge does not provide an account, cloud sync, advertising network, or third-party analytics service. It does not upload MIDI notes, host projects, presets, or imported files to Borealbit servers.
Purchases
GrooveNudge Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment details. GrooveNudge receives product and transaction status needed to unlock and restore the purchase; Borealbit does not receive your payment card information.
Exports and sharing
Files leave GrooveNudge only when you choose to export, save, or share them using system file and share interfaces. After export, the destination app or service controls its copy under its own privacy terms.
Companion website
The companion website is delivered through Cloudflare. Standard operational and security logs may contain request data such as the requested URL, timestamp, user agent, and IP-derived network information. The website does not receive MIDI files, host sessions, presets, or musical content from the app.
Support email
If you contact support@borealbit.com, Borealbit uses your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send to respond to the request. Do not send a MIDI file or other content unless it is necessary for the support request and you are comfortable sharing it.
Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to normal iOS backup and file-management behavior. Exported copies remain wherever you saved or shared them. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to resolve the request and maintain support records.
Children's privacy
GrooveNudge is a music-production tool and is not directed to children. Borealbit does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, Borealbit will update the text on this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store privacy disclosures when required.
